Navajo ten (10) piece turquoise shadowbox concho belt. The silversmith has created ten (10) matching domed shaped oval conchos and applied an overlaid three (3) stone turquoise shadowbox flower design on each concho. The nine (9) concho have double copper belt slides attached to the back sides and the buckle has a swivel type belt holder with solid belt catch soldered to the back. The artist has mounted all the conchos to a black leather belt and attached the buckle with a snap type rivet so you can remove and wear the buckle separate or add a different buckle if desired.

The belt measures 39 3/4" long by 3/4" wide with belt set with six (6) notched holes at 31 1/4" and every inch afterwards up to 36 1/4". You can set new holes as needed. Each concho measures 1 1/2" tall by 2 1/4" across as does the buckle also. The complete concho belt weighs 286.6 grams (10.11 ounces or 9.21 troy ounces) and is hallmarked BC with a rocker/arrow above by the Navajo silversmith. The concho's and buckle are made with nickel silver. Nickel doesn't tarnish and allows the artist to make affordable pieces. You normally see sterling being replaced with the nickel when the price of sterling rises extravagantly high which leads me to say this belt was made about 4-5 years ago when sterling reached $40+ an ounce. Very nice inexpensive concho belt in great shape!  $319.95
