Beautiful vintage 70's Navajo turquoise and coral chip inlay waterbirds/peyote birds decorated squash necklace. The silversmith has used one hundred thirty eight (138) 8mm sterling seamed beads with perfectly filed lips, ten (10) turquoise/coral chip inlay birds, and a double heavy gauge half round wire naja that sports two (2) birds along with four (4) silver flower blooms (two (2) on each end of the naja). Made with real turquoise and coral chips not color dyed chips and the flower blooms are made with a single silver drop and the outer drops being flatten into buttons. All strung on steel wire with a sterling shepherds hook and eye clasp.

The necklace measures 25 1/2" long end to end with a wearable length of 14 1/4" measured from clasp to end tip of naja. The naja measures 2 1/4" by 2 1/4" across with each bird measuring 5/8" by 1 1/2" across. It weighs 119.1 grams ( 4.20 oz or 3.83 ozt) and is unsigned sterling silver.
