Solid beautiful Navajo-Hopi turquoise, coral, and tiger cowrie shell inlaid cuff bracelet. The artist has created a very solid and substantial silver cuff using heavy gauge sheet silver and trimming it with twisted side cuffs made from twisted wire and strips of sheet silver on both outer edges. The artist has decorated the solid cuff with a unique combination of turquoise, coral, and tiger cowrie shell all stone-to-stone inlaid from end to end across the cuff. The artist didn't skimp on the stones either mounting them into deep smooth silver setting. The stones and shells are cut so precise and tight that they set next to each other like it's all one piece! Very "top of the line" high end quality workmanship!

The bracelet measures 1 3/8" wide narrowing to 3/8" wide at each end. The actual stone setting measures 3/4" wide narrowing to 1/8" wide at the ends. It has an inner circumference of 5" plus a 1 1/8" opening. The bracelet will fit a 6" to 6 1/8" wrist and cannot be adjusted. The bracelet weighs 68.9 grams (2.43 oz or 2.22 ozt) and is hallmarked with a W flanked on both sides with Deer Antlers. I attribute the beautiful piece to Hopi artist Darren "Wiki" Tasawytewa, but the hallmark also has similarities of his brother Del Fred (the antlers). It's also very similar to Wes Willie's hallmark. The bracelet also has the letters BW etched on one side, but I believe that may be the previous owners initials. Both artist do inlay work and both artist are highly in demand.
