Older sand painting of pueblo pottery. The three vases or pots have been applied to a craft board and then attached to a stained wood plaque. each color is applied on top of the previous color giving off a raised or somewhat dimensional appearance. The artist has attached a description about the use of pottery in the native world. Talks about how they spirit would be released and then the pottery would be destroyed after it had fulfilled it's purpose. Native religious belief is that everything is a living entity and serves a purpose in the eyes of Creator. Once that purpose has been fulfilled the entity is retired never to be used again. The artist has attached a screw type eye to use as a wall hanging.

The sand painting and wood plaque measures 5 1/4" by 6 1/2" across.  $27.95
