Rare collectable Navajo turquoise decorated woman sandcast letter opener/knife. The silversmith has created a cast with a woman's head at top and hair tied back into a bun. They have slit open the lower part of the handle allowing to widen it and added two cut and polished turquoise stones, mounting one at each end of the opened handle and setting the stones into saw tooth bezels. Finishing by adding repeating bird tracks down the knife blade.

The letter opener measures 5 1/8" long by 3/4" wide and weighs 17 grams. Unsigned sterling silver. Very nice and solid collectable!  $129.95
