NEW! Navajo decorative silver overlay bolo. The silversmith has cut out a Hopi symbol and overlaid it onto a blackened scorched silver base. Not sure what the symbol represents and even asked Mr. Scott. He replied, "Not sure? I saw the symbol and really liked it so I made jewelry using it." (we also have a matching bracelet, but haven't put it on the site yet). I want to say it represents an eagle or bird along with a bear or badger paw?

The overlay measures 1 15/16" by 1 9/16" across narrowing to 1 5/16" across the bottom. It's attached with a thumb locking bolo clasp to a 6mm black braided leather cord that measures 45" long which includes the 1 3/4" long seamed bead end tips. The complete bolo weighs 42 grams (1.48 ounces or 1.35 troy ounces) and is stamped Sterling - ROSCOTT by Navajo silversmith Roscoe Scott. Very nice sterling silver overlay bolo!  $134.95
