Beautiful multi stone inlay of a water maiden by talented Navajo silversmith/lapidarist Carol Kee. Made with inlays of mother of pearl, jet, turquoise, and coral and displaying a woman with a water vessel on her head. Detailed and precise inlay with a turquoise necklace, eye's, nostril's, mouth, and zig-zag coral in the apron. This is truly a unique and rare piece.

The water maiden measures 3 7/8" by 1 7/8" and is attached with a spring loaded slide to a black braided leather cord which measures approximately 45" long to include the 2 1/4" long hand made sterling silver end tips. It also has a hook on the back where it can be worn with a necklace. The complete bolo weighs 55.1 grams (1.94 ounces) and is stamped CAROL KEE. There is slight damage whereas the hair has a small crack, a piece of turquoise is missing from the necklace, and a small chip in one of the shoes or moccasins. None of the damage takes away from the pendant and only adds character. Guaranteed sterling silver. Unfortunately, Ms. Kee passed on to the spirit world a few years ago.  $359.95
