 Large vintage Zuni multi inlay Chief Bust with bonnet bolo. Made with an array of different inlaid stones consisting of Kingman turquoise, spiny oyster, onyx, ivory, and a butterscotch brown agate stone all channel or stone-to-stone inlaid to reflect a Chief Bust with bonnet. The face has been scrimshaw detailed on ivory. Attached to the black braided leather cord with a BENNETT PAT.PEND. thumb locking clasp.

The large Chief pendant measures 1 7/8" tall by 1 1/2" across the widest point. The 5mm leather cord measures approximately 36" long which includes the 1" long handmade silver ball end tips. The bolo weighs 26.2 grams and is etched R. QUAM. The artist is either Ralph Quam or Raymond Quam. Appears both made the same styled chief with bonnets?
