Nice three strand southwest turquoise and shell heishi necklace. The artist has strung three separate strands using small turquoise nuggets with brown and light brown matrix along with 1mm brown shell heishi beads. The strands slightly graduate longer than the previous strand. The artist brings all three (3) strands together into a decorative combination of 4mm and 6mm silver rolled beads and 19mm x 4mm melon beads. Finishing with a lobster clasp connection. All strung on nylon coated beading wire.

The necklace measures 24 1/2" long end to end with a wearable length of 12" from clasp to arch in stands. It weighs 32.6 grams. The silver beads are either full sterling or sterling silver plated. This may be a tourist necklace found at the booths along the highway and roads inside the Navajo Nation. I cannot attest to it being made by an actual native artisan so I've left it as Southwest. Very well made!  $59.95
