Large, bold, and heavy Santo Domingo carved turquoise disc and heshi necklace! The necklace consists of forty four (44) large carved and polished blue turquoise disc with brown and dark brown matrix in the main part of the necklace with fourteen (14) smaller discs in the jacla for a total of fifty eight (58) hand carved disc graduating in size. The disc range in size from approximately 3/8" diameter up to 1 1/16" diameter. The artist has used carved turquoise heshi that appears to be from the same batch of turquoise that spaces between the disc and up each end. They graduate in size from 3mm diameter up to 10mm diameter. The artist finishes the beautiful necklace by attaching and connecting seven (7) strands of sinew across the back.

The necklace measures 41" end to end if possible with a wearable length of 20 1/2" long. It weighs a hefty 169.4 grams (5.97 ounces) and is unsigned. The artist has strung it on nylon coated beading wire. All hand carved! The necklace came with other necklaces that are Santo Domingo made.
