Listed Below Are Fequently Asked Questions

As a convenience to both our customers and ourselves, we are starting a list of
Frequently Asked Questions
with answers
. We will add to this page as more questions come in.

1.) Q: What does it mean when I see a logo next to the item picture?
A: When we show the logo next to an item we mean to represent that item as a "New" , recently made, and never previously owned. Not as just a new listing to the site.

2.) Q: How do I determine the right size ring or bracelet?
A: We recommend actually going to a local jeweler and determine your size using their tools, but you can use a piece of string and wrap it around either your finger or wrist. Don't pull it tight, but don't leave it too loose either. Mark the points where the string intersects or crosses. Then measure the distance between the intersecting points. This is a primitive way of sizing and we do recommend going to a local jeweler to find out your correct size.  Click Here to read more and see charts showing cross references.

3.)
Q: Do you have a return policy?
A: Yes we do! We understand that shopping on the Internet can be very trying and pictures can be confusing in size and color to say the least. Different computer monitors show colors differently and we blow up most of the pictures to show detail. That's one reason why we add a detailed description along with measurements and weights to somewhat help you mentally comprehend at least the size and weight of the item. We do offer a 15 day return on items. We are human and understand that certain circumstances warrant an extended period such as gift giving during the Christmas/Holiday season. You can read more by clicking on RETURN POLICY.

4.) Q: What do you mean when you list an item as "Vintage"?
A: When we list an item as vintage we are relaying to the viewer that the piece is at least 25 years old or older. When possible, we try to add a more accurate time frame in the items description.

5.) Q: Are all your listings Native American made?
A: Approximately 95% to 98% of our items are Native American made, but we do carry some Mexican and Southwest designed pieces. We describe those pieces as such in our descriptions as either Mexican, Southwest, and/or non-native made. Some of our pendants may come with a sterling silver chain made in Italy. We do not carry any items made overseas in China, Japan, Philippines, or Thailand with the exception of our watchfaces, watch stretchbands, and possibly other similar suppiles.

6.) Q: It would be nice if you had a search box on the site?
A: Although we have always had a search box powered by Google at the top of the Home page and Site Map page, we have now added search boxes at the bottom of all Main Category pages (i.e. Bracelets, Rings, Necklaces, etc.) to make it easier and more prevelant to notice for our visitors.

7.) Q: Why are all the prices rising on your listings?
A: The higher prices have been caused by many related factors. Mainly, the rise in the cost of raw sterling silver and semi-precious stones is causing the main increase. Raw silver has rose in costs from around $15 a troy ounce in early 2010 to around the neighborhood of $40 a troy ounce now. That has caused many of the silversmiths to quote "hang up their belts" and try to find a steady income. Keep in mind they have to buy the materials up front, spend the time to create their craft, and then wait until the crafts sell. Most Native silversmiths can't afford to tie up their money that long whereas they live day to day on what little money they have. With that in mind, there are fewer silversmiths working these days allowing the one's that are working to ask higher prices for their crafts. I've also heard the casino's are a down fall too. They hope like everyone else they will hit the big pay off which rarely ever happens.
