Beautiful older vintage 60's - 70's Navajo turquoise and coral bolo! The bolo consists of a teardrop cut and highly polished blue-green turquoise stone with rust brown matrix along with a long cut and polished piece of branch coral each set into smooth bezels. The silversmith adds two (2) stamped silver buttons between the stones along with four (4) large silver drops and two (2) flowing prayer fans. All mounted to a tall silver base with decorative divots in center and stampwork down both sides. The bolo setting measures 2 1/4" by 1 5/8" narrowing down to 1 1/8" across the bottom. It is attached to the 6mm black braided leather cord with a BENNETT PAT.PEND. C-31 thumb locking clasp. The leather cord is somewhat soft and appears to be the original. It measures 36" long which includes the 2" long hand made decorative stamped (see picture) sterling silver bead end tips. The complete bolo weighs 41.7 grams (1.47 ounces) and is unsigned sterling silver. The Bennett patent expired in 1969, but some were still used into the 1970's. One of the end tips has a slight ding which isn't overly visible or noticed at first glance. Very nice older bolo! $89.95
