Lg bold Navajo turquoise shadowbox sunburst cast ring! Made with a polished turquoise nugget with light brown matrix set into a saw tooth bezel and mounted to a blackened scorched silver base. The artist continues decorating with a solid domed silver overlay which rises above the stone. He cuts out the silver to expose the stone creating a shadowbox effect. The artist finishes by etching sunburst lines into the face and mounts all to a heavy cast silver band. The ring face measures approximately 1 1/8" by 7/8" across and weighs 18.8 grams. It's a size 12 1/4 and is hallmarked P - STERLING by the Navajo silversmith. The ring is in great shape with no dents or dings, although the picture appears there may be one.
