Item # 514T - Lg Navajo Turquoise Flower Pendant w/XLG Bale
Large beautiful Navajo turquoise flower pendant with extra large bale! The pendant consists of a cut and polished blue turquoise stone with webbed reddish brown and dark brown matrix along with a speck of quartz set in a scallop cut bezel. The silversmith wraps the stone with twisted wire and adds a silver flower with two (2) leaves across the top of the stone. Then continuing with crescent moon wire around the rest of the stone. The artist finishes by attaching an extremely large silver bale to the top which measures 5/8" at widest point with an opening of approximately 3/4" by 5/8". The stone measures 1 1/4" tall by 1" across. The beautiful pendant measures approximately 2 1/8" by 1 1/2" across and including the large bale is 2 7/8" tall. It weighs 19.2 grams and is hallmarked GY - Sterling by the Navajo artist. We received a very large square turquoise ring with this pendant by the same silversmith with a stone from the same batch.
