Item # 514B - Navajo Turquoise Wide Band Ring by G.Tom Sz 10 1/2
Beautiful Navajo turquoise wide band ring! Made with an oval cut and polished blue-green turquoise stone with brown and dark brown matrix set in a smooth bezel and wrapped with twisted wire. The silversmith mounts the stone to a thick wide silver three fingered split shank band. The ring is made with similar properties of the older early Navajo style which they are calling "revival" pieces honoring the elder silversmiths. The thin flat stone is characteristic of early 1900's style craftsmanship. The ring face measures approximately 1 1/8" by 7/8" across and weighs 11.3 grams. It's a size 10 1/2 and is signed Gilbert Tom - STERLING by the Navajo artist. Very nice comfortable ring! $79.95
