Item # 506X - Navajo Turquoise Open Eyed Knifewing Earrings by V.Begay
NEW! Beautiful Navajo turquoise open eyed Knifewing deity earrings! Each earring consists of a detailed stamped and cut silver Knifewing deity. The artist adds a green King Manassa turquoise stone set in a smooth bezel and mounted into the chest. This particular set displays the eyes and mouth opened. He finishes the set by attaching a sterling silver ear hook to the top of the hat. Each earring measures 1 1/8" by 1" and with the ear hook they are 1 3/4" tall. They weigh 3.4 grams each (6.8 grams for both). The artist has stamped both VB - STERLING by Navajo silversmith Virgil Begay. The blown up picture shows scorching around the stone, but in real life it's not noticeable. We also have a set with the eyes closed and slightly different hat.
