




Extra large beautiful 70's vintage Navajo Bisbee turquoise bear claw shadowbox squashblossom necklace! Made with a total of one hundred seventy eight (178) silver 8mm seamed beads, eight (8) extra large Bisbee turquoise shadowbox blossoms, and another Bisbee turquoise shadowbox with attached bear claws naja. Each Bisbee turquoise stone measures between 1/2" across by 5/8" long up to 3/4" across by 7/8" long with most in the larger range. Each turquoise shadowbox blossom consists of an turquoise stone set into a saw toothed bezel and mounted to a blackened scorched silver base. The silversmith applies the cut silver dome exposing the stone and adds decorative stamping. They then encircle the shadowbox with two (2) sets of twisted wire along with more decorative stamping around the outer rim finishing with a three point cone blossom attached on the under side. Each turquoise shadowbox blossom measures between 2" wide by 2 7/8" long up to 2" wide by 3" long. The large shadowbox/bear claw naja consists of a similar shadowbox as the side blossoms with two (2) 1 1/2" long bear claws attached. The naja measures approximately 3 3/8" by 2 3/4". The full necklace measures 35" end to end with a wearable length of 19 3/4" long and is strung on heavy gauge nylon coated bead wire with a hook-n-eye clasp.
