Item # 474H - Older Navajo Oblong Turquoise Tribal Stamped Pendant w/Heavy Snake Chain
Beautiful older Navajo oblong turquoise pendant with snake chain! The pendant consists of a beautiful brilliant blue oblong cut and polished turquoise stone set in a scallop cut bezel. The artist wraps the stone with twisted rope and smooth wire applying decorative tribal stampwork on both sides. They finish by attaching a small silver bale at top. The pendant comes with a heavy solid sterling silver snake chain that measures 18" long and has a lobster clasp. The pendant measures approximately 1" by 5/8" across and including the bale is 1 7/16" tall. It weighs 11.9 grams total and is stamped N - Sterling by the Navajo silversmith.
