Item # 467H - Vintage Navajo 4 Strand Multi Stone Squaw Wrap Necklace
Very nice vintage Navajo four strand multi stone squaw wrap necklace! The artist uses a total of four (4) strands to create this necklace. One strand is strictly turquoise nuggets with tiger shell heshi while the other three (3) strands have an equal combination of turquoise, branch coral, mother of pearl, brown shell heshi, olive shell heshi, and tiger shell heshi. All strung on cotton string with a squaw wrap back. The squaw wrap shows age and wear, but still is very wearable without chance of breaking. The necklace would measure approximately 30" end to end if it was possible with a wearable length of 15" long. It weighs 43.7 grams (1.54 ounces) and is unsigned. I'd say the necklace is from the 40's or 50's? $69.95
