Extra large beautiful Navajo oblong cut onyx with silver leaf ring! Made with an oblong cut and polished black onyx stone set in a very fine hand cut saw tooth bezel. The artist wraps three (3) sides of the stone with twisted wire and decorative stamped smooth wire. The fourth side has a large folded silver leaf mounted. The silversmith continues decorating by adding silver drops to each end of the twisted wire stamping one of the drops with a sunburst marking. They finish the ring by attaching a solid split shank wire band. The ring face measures approximately 1 9/16" by 7/8" across and weighs a healthy 10.3 grams.
