Large beautiful vintage Navajo double turquoise and branch coral bolo! The bola setting consists of a long cut and polished piece of branch coral in center flanked on the top and bottom with a large round and oval cut and polished blue turquoise stone with black spiderweb matrix along with specks of silvery pyrite throughout the matrix. All set into hand cut saw toothed thick silver bezels. The silversmith flanks both turquoise stones with silver leaves. the artist finishes by mounting the decoration to a blackened scorched stamped frame silver base. The turquoise is of higher quality gem grade and is either spiderweb Cerillos or Darlene Mine turquoise. The large setting measures 2 1/2" tall by 2" across tapering down to 1 1/2" across the bottom. It is attached to a black braided leather cord with a BENNETT PAT. PEND. thumb locking clasp. The leather cord measures 36" long which includes the 2 1/4" long sterling silver bench bead end tips. The complete bolo weighs 50.2 grams (1.77 ounces) and is stamped M Sunrise P by the Navajo silversmith. We have replaced the bent end tip with a new matching one. $179.95
