Item # 420B - Lg Turquoise Shirt Collar Clips
Very nice older turquoise shirt collar clips! Each collar clip consists of a single brilliant blue turquoise polished nugget set in a smooth bezel. The silversmith adds a silver leaf next to the stone along with silver coiled scrolls to complete the decoration. They have a screw type clip/clasp on the back which will tighten and hold to the shirt collar. They each measures 2" by 1 3/4" and weigh 8.8 grams (17.6 grams for both). They appear to be made with a lower silver content 70%-90% silver with copper filler (giving a yellowish tint) and the decoration/bezel being sterling grade (92.5%) silver. Using lower percentage silver allows for no tarnish and a distinct separation of the base and decoration. Large and will be noticed when worn! $32.95 ON LAYAWAY
