Item # 390K - Vintage Hopi Turquoise Silver Overlay Bolo
Beautiful vintage Hopi turquoise silver overlay bolo. Made with a single polished blue-green turquoise stone with rust brown matrix set into smooth bezel and mounted to a decorative silver overlay with scorched blackened base. The bolo shield measures 2" tall by 1 5/8" across narrowing down to 3/4" across the bottom and is attached to the black braided leather cord with a BENNETT PAT. PEND. C-31 thumb locking clasp. The leather cord measures 38" long which includes the 1 1/2" long sterling silver end tips. The complete bolo weighs 32.3 grams (1.13 ounces) and is unsigned. Guaranteed sterling silver. The leather cord shows a lot of wear from over the years. We have left it for the collectors, but can install a new cord for an extra $10. Contact us if a new cord is desired.
