Beautiful, large, and heavy Navajo turquoise medallion squashblossom necklace! Made with one hundred thirty two(132) large silver seamed 8mm round beads, twenty eight (28) solid hollow 7mm round silver beads, twelve (12) turquoise medallion graduating blossoms, and a heavy eight (8) stone turquoise medallion naja. All strung on silver foxtail chain. The turquoise used is a green-blue with rust brown matrix. Could be a bluish version of Kings Manassas whereas most Manassas is a through green. It's definitely a higher quality and harder stone. Each blossom or side setting consists of a single turquoise stone set in a unique serrated finger bezel and encased with two decorative cut and chiseled carinated wires which are then stacked which I call medallions. Under the blossom setting they have added a three point rounded tip flute. The blossoms vary in measurement from 1 1/2" long by 7/8" wide at top to 2 1/4" long by 1 1/2" wide at bottom with each one gradually larger than the one before it. The naja measures slightly more than 3 1/8" tall by 3 1/8" across and is made with seven (7) medallions mounded to the double carinated wire horseshoe naja with a single medallion dangling in the center. The whole necklace measures 28" long end to end and has a wearable length of 16 1/2" long. It weighs between 10 to 11 ounces. The necklace is stamped STERLING - E.KEE by the Navajo silversmith. This is a large and heavy necklace that's very beautiful and bold! $1499.95
