Item # 361K - Men's Older Navajo Turquoise Coral Bear Claw Watchband
Very nice vintage Navajo men's turquoise coral bear claw watchband! Each watch tip consists of a bear claw set in a hand cut claw holder with a piece of branch coral to the side of the claw and a light blue turquoise nugget with black matrix mounted on the top of the claw holder. The artist adds a small silver leaf along with balanced scrolls and silver drops. The artist finishes the tips with twisted rope and sunrise stamping down both sides of the watch tips. All mounted to a slightly blackened base. Each tip measures 1 5/8" long by 1 1/4" across tapering down to 7/8". The watch pin holders measure 17mm (slightly over 5/8") across. We added a new adjustable stainless steel stretchband that measures 3 1/4" long. The total length is 6 1/2" which does not include a watch. The whole watchband weighs 38 grams (1.34 ounces).
