Beautiful "like new" Navajo silver and gold flying eagle slave bracelet. Each section is made with a foliage of gold leaves, fans, and scrolls with a three dimensional silver flying eagle laid on top. All mounted to a blackened silver base. The bracelet is made in the Navajo shield design with two half round wires soldered together and only separating to run each side of the shield. At the separation the artist has applied repeating sunrise stampwork. The center piece and ring are similar in design and layout with the ring being attached to a split shank band. Each piece is connected to the next with hand made dot-dash type silver chains. The bracelet measures 1" at widest point with an inner circumference of 5 3/8" and a 1 1/8" opening. It fits a 6 1/4" to 6 1/2" wrist as is and can be slightly adjusted without damage. The center section and ring measures 1 1/4" long by 5/8" wide and the ring is a size 8 3/4.The complete slave bracelet weighs 25.9 grams and is stamped H G - STERLING by the Navajo silversmith.
