Item # 351W - Vintage Zuni Multi Inlay Thunderbird Ivory Bracelet
Beautiful vintage Zuni multi inlay Thunderbird bracelet. Made with turquoise, coral, white mother of pearl, yellow mother of pearl, brown lip shell, jet, and elk or fossilized ivory all channel inlaid to represent a Thunderbird and two feather prayer fans. The pictures tell the story, but the ivory has been used in the prayer fans which is not see these days in similar bracelets. Each section has been partially wrapped with twisted rope. All mounted to a three round wire silver cuff with each wire end soldered to a round wire post on both ends of cuff. The bracelet measures 1 3/8" at widest point with an inner circumference of 4 3/4" and a 1 3/8" opening. It fits a 6" to 6 1/4" wrist as is and can be slightly adjusted without damage. The fairly solid silver bracelet weighs 24.8 grams and is stamped J.J. NIIHA - ZUNI by the Zuni silversmith/lapidarist Jeannette Niiha. $169.95 SOLD THANK YOU! Please check out our other selections!
