Beautiful vintage #8 Mine turquoise pendant! Made with a raw natural untreated turquoise nugget from the Number 8 Mine. The stone is light blue with traces of quartz along with golden brown and brown web matrix. Set in a smooth bezel and wrapped with heavy twisted rope. All mounted to a blackened base with five pieces of heavy gauge curved wire around the edge. The silversmith finishes the pendant with another piece of the heavy gauge wire attaching it to the back for the pendant hoop. The pendant measures 1 1/2" long by 1 1/4" across and weighs 13.3 grams.
