Item # 333E - Vintage Navajo Turquoise Shadowbox Bolo
Very nice vintage Navajo turquoise shadowbox bolo. Made with a single light blue turquoise nugget with slight black matrix. Set in a saw toothed bezel and mounted to a blackened base. The artist adds a domed overlay exposing the stone with etched lines and repeating snake jaw stamping on a scallop edged pendant. The vintage pendant measures 1 7/8" tall by 1 1/2" across and is attached to a black braided leather cord with a thumb locking clasp. The leather cord measures approximately 38" long which includes the 1 3/4" long sterling silver beaded end tips. The complete bolo weighs 26.1 grams and is unsigned sterling silver. I'd say it was made somewhere between 1970's and 1980's. $69.95
