Item # 324R - Vintage Zuni Six Stone Turquoise Snake Eyes Ring Sz 4 1/2
Nice vintage Zuni six stone turquoise ring. Made with six round "snake eyes" made from turquoise set in two rows of three. Each stone is set in very fine cut saw toothed bezels with silver beads set to each side of the stone. Each row of three has been mounted to a flat silver bar which the artist added two very small beads between each stone and at each end of the bar. Mounted to a split band which has a small arrowhead at each end of the split and repeating sunrise stampwork along with scalloped edges on both parts of the split. The ring face measures approximately 7/8" by 5/8". It's a size 4 1/2 and weighs 3.7 grams. Stamped Sterling with a Hallmark which I can't make out. After looking at this ring it's no wonder most of the Native silversmiths go blind and/or lose their sight at early ages. $34.95
