Item # 318M - Vintage 30's-40's Navajo Red Moss Jasper Bracelet




  Beautiful vintage 30's-40's Navajo brilliant red moss jasper bracelet. Made with a large red moss jasper oval stone set in a smooth bezel and encircled with repeating bead wire. The artist creates an elaborate flower appearance around the stone using smaller gauge bead wire along with a silver drop on each side of the setting. Attached to a three half round wire cuff which are seamed together at each end with a cross bar. The artist applied heavy deep stampwork to the cuff wires on both sides. The bracelet measures 1 5/8" wide with an inner circumference of 5 3/8" and a 1 1/4" opening. It fits a 6 1/2" to 6 5/8" wrist as is and although fairly soild could be adjusted in or out slightly to fit without damage. The bracelet weighs 47.5 grams (1.68 ounces) and is unsigned.
