Item # 310N - Vintage Navajo Turquoise Leaf Screw Clasp Earrings
Very nice vintage 70's Navajo turquoise and leaf screw type earrings! Made on a teardrop blackened background with a single turquoise stone set in a saw toothed bezel and placed at the end of the teardrop. Above the stone is a silver leaf with silver drops between the stone and leaf and two silver drops above the leaf. The rim has been lined with a half round wire. Attached to a screw type ear clasp that has a silver button exposed. The actual teardrop measures 1 1/2" by 9/16" with the total length including the clasp at 2" long. They weigh 8.4 grams together and each is stamped P. HALEY along with the AT Hallmark by Navajo silversmith Paul Haley who worked for The Atkinson Trading Co. at the time these were made.
