Item # 309P - Mexican Diamond Cut Amethyst Teardrop Ponytail Holder
Simply amazing! Beautiful diamond cut amethyst ponytail holder/clip. I believe the politically correct term is pear shape, but sticking with Native lingo I'll call it teardrop. Set in a smooth open bezel with decorative repousse flowers and vines to both sides and above the stone (the pictures are upside down). The holder measures 1 1/4" tall and is 2" around. It weighs 10.4 grams and is etched signed T. Able with a copyright insignia. I originally tagged it as being Mexican do to the style, but it may not be. It's not Native American for sure. The signature is small, but if you look at the picture showing the back side it's located at top right. I believe it's sterling and we have lightly cleaned it doing away with the yellow stain around the stone. $44.95
