Item # 307R - Vintage Navajo Three Turquoise Shadowbox Cuff
Very nice vintage Navajo three stone turquoise shadowbox cuff! Made with three beautiful hand cut and polished turquoise stones with brown matrix and set in smooth bezels. Mounted to a blackened base with a domed silver cover decoratively cut out to expose the stones forming a shadowbox effect. Very smooth silver measuring 1" wide with an inner circumference of 5 3/8" and a 1 1/4" opening. It will fit a 6 1/2" wrist with no adjustment. The bracelet weighs 41.7 grams (1.47 ounces) and is unsigned sterling silver. I showed a section on the inside which I thought may have been a repair, but I now lean more towards the artist possibly adding some silver for support. The cuff was heavily tarnished when we received it and after cleaning it I don't notice any signs of wear. The picture of the side of bracelet is deceiving and just reflections whereas it's as smooth as a baby's behind with no dents or dings. It's most likely from the 50's to 70's era and honestly I don't believe it's been worn previously. $174.95
