Item # 307F - Navajo Collector's Turquoise Bracelet - Joe Begay
Mid to late 70's Navajo turquoise bracelet. Solid and somewhat heavy for it's size consisting of two turquoise stones set in very fine cut serrated bezels. With two stamped buttons between the stones and a single button on either side of the stones. The artist added a curling leaf on each side and finishing the decoration with a button at each tip of the leaves. Mounted to a scorched or blackened base with two heavy gauge half round wires running the outer edge and coming together at the ends. The bracelet measures 7/8" wide with an inner circumference of 5" and a 1 3/8" opening. It will fit a 6 1/4" wrist and cannot be adjusted. The bracelet weighs 34.2 grams (1.21 ounces).
