Item # 298P - Navajo Six Stone Turquoise Offset Bracelet
Older Navajo six stone turquoise offset bracelet. The artist has bent and twisted the combination half round and twisted wire cuff to form the correct angles for the offset. Adding a single turquoise nugget on the inside that's surrounded with five silver drops. Continuing with five nuggets on the outer side with large silver drops between each stone. Deep smooth bezels hold the natural untreated turquoise nuggets in place. The stones have a tan and brown matrix. The bracelet measures 1" wide across the center stones with an inner circumference of 5 1/4" and a 1" opening. It fits a 6" to 6 1/4" wrist and could be slightly adjusted out. The bracelet weighs 12.5 grams and is stamped APACHITO. I'm going to take a guess and say it was made by Navajo silversmith Clinton Apachito since the "O" is not closed and appears to be a "C".
