Nice multi stone turquoise squashblossom necklace. Made with one hundred forty six (146) silver 8mm seamed beads, twelve (12) turquoise blossoms, and a six (6) stone turquoise naja. Each blossom consists of a single turquoise stone set in a smooth bezel. Mounted to a blackened base with two scrolls and two silver beads outlying the outer rim. A three prong flute blossom is attached. They each measure 1 3/4" long. The naja consists of two heavy gauge half round wires with five similar settings as the blossoms soldered to the wires and a single free floating stone with a smaller setting and single bead dangling from the center of the naja. It measures 3 1/8" by 2 3/4". The complete necklace measures 27" long end to end with a wearable length of 16 1/8" long. Strung on foxtail chain with silver cones and hand made wire wrapped hook-n-eye clasp. The necklace weighs 203.2 grams (7.17 ounces) and is unsigned sterling silver. It appears the necklace has been made with stones from at least three different mines. Some of the stones have heavy silvery pyrite and they range from a sky blue, dark blue, and greenish blue in color. One stone is obviously Royston and another appears to be Ajax mine turquoise. $578.95
