Large heavy vintage thirteen stone turquoise necklace. Made with one hundred fifty four (154) silver 9-10mm beads, thirteen (13) settings each with what appears to be Royston turquoise set in smooth bezels, wrapped with twisted rope, and encircled with crescent moon wire and oblong circle wire which give the appearance of a flower with butterflies or bees flying around the bloom. All mounted to a blackened base and graduating in size down to the center pendant. Each setting measures from 1 1/2" by 1 1/4" to 1 5/8" by 1 3/8" to 2" by 1 5/8" to 2" by 2" to finally the center pendant that's 3" by 2 1/4". The stones range from 3/4" by 1/2" to 2 1/8" by 1 1/4". The large necklace measures 27 1/2" long end to end with a wearable length of 16" long and is strung on foxtail chain with a hook-n-eye clasp. The large and heavy necklace weighs 12 ounces and is unsigned sterling silver. The stones are much nicer than the pictures show with matrix running from a deep reddish rust brown to almost tan.
