Beautiful dainty Zuni turquoise needlepoint squashblossom necklace! Made with one hundred seventy (170) 6mm silver seamed beads, twelve (12) needlepoint blossoms each with ten (10) stones, and a forty seven (47) stone naja. Each blossom consists of a small round "snake eye" stone in center wrapped with flat wire and surrounded by nine needlepoint stones with silver drops at the tips. The necklace measures 27 3/4" long end to end with a wearable length of 14 3/8" long. It weighs 59.4 grams (2.10 ounces) and is stamped E. WEEKA by Zuni artist Eleanor Weeka.
