Item # 288Z - Vintage Large Turquoise Buckle
Very nice vintage turquoise buckle. Either Navajo or Hopi, it's been made with a beautiful large polished turquoise nugget with rust and dark brown matrix. Set in a saw toothed bezel with a flower bloom, leaf, and two twisted ropes mounted above it. Decorative buffalo hoofs stamped in the four corners and also framed with the same stamp. The buckle measures 3" by 2 1/4" and weighs 61.3 grams (2.16 ounces). Unsigned sterling silver, it will accommodate a belt up to 1 3/4" wide.
