Item # 287R - Vintage 17 Stone Turquoise Buckle
Beautiful vintage 60's-70's turquoise nugget belt buckle. Most likely Navajo made sporting seventeen (17) turquoise nuggets with black and dark brown matrix. Some even have a slight spot of silvery pyrite. All set in smooth bezels with multiple silver drops between the stones. The outer rim is wrapped with twisted rope along with notched half round wire. All mounted to a heavy gauge blackened base. The stone range from 3/8" to 5/8" long and the buckle measures 3" by 2 1/8". It weighs a hefty 66.2 grams (2.34 ounces) and is unsigned sterling silver. The buckle will accommodate up to a 1 1/2" wide belt. $159.95
