  Beautiful 70's -80's medium sized Navajo turquoise squashblossom necklace. Made with one hundred twenty four (124) sterling silver 7mm seamed beads, ten (10) turquoise blossoms, and an eight (8) stone turquoise naja. Strung on vinyl coated wire with a hook-n-eye clasp. Each turquoise blossom consists of a smooth bezel set turquoise stone wrapped with twisted rope and lined with smooth decorative stamped/chiseled wire along with two silver beads at the base. They have a trefold or three pronged flute attached to the under side and measure 1 1/2" long with ranges of 5/8" to 3/4" wide. The naja measures 2 5/8" by 2 1/2" with the stones ranging from 3/8" by 1/2" to 1/2" by 5/8". The turquoise is of higher quality with great depth. The matrix changes from spider webbed to black grit and some stones have silver pyrite. The necklace measures 24" long end to end with a wearable length of 13 3/4". It weighs 156.7 grams (5.53 ounces) and is unsigned sterling silver. Very nice squashblossom necklace! Not too big and not too small.  $534.95
