Item # 283N - Vintage Navajo Turquoise Coral Chip Inlay Water & Serpents Bolo
Nice heavy vintage Navajo turquoise and coral water serpent bolo! Made with inlaid chips of turquoise and coral resembling rain or water symbols with snake or water serpent designs around the outer edge of the bolo pendant. The pendant measures 2 1/4" long by 1 3/4" across the top narrowing down to 1" across the bottom. It's attached to a braided black leather cord with a BENNETT PAT.PEND. C-31 thumb locking clasp. The leather cord measures slightly longer than 34" which includes the 2" long sterling silver end tips. It weighs 42 grams (1.48 ounces) and is etched KB under the clasp. Guaranteed sterling silver. The edges have been hand rolled which is evident in picture of back side. I'd place it as being made in early 70's although the Bennett patent expired in 1969. $79.95
