Item # 283A - Vintage Zuni 17 Stone Turquoise Cluster Bolo
Very nice vintage Zuni turquoise cluster bolo! Beautiful deep blue turquoise (darker blue than pics) with an oval stone (approximately 7/8" by 1/2") in center and sixteen (16) teardrop satelite stones. Each stone is set in hand cut saw toothed bezels with the center stone wrapped with twisted rope and the teardrop stones have a silver drop between each stone. The bolo pendant measures 2" by 1 3/4" and is attached to the black braided leather cord with an old BENNETT PAT.PEND. thumb locking clasp. The leather cord measures 38 1/2" long which includes the 2" long sterling silver end tips. The complete bolo weighs 36.4 grams (1.28 ounces) and is unsigned sterling silver. I believe it's from the 50's era, possibly older. $112.95
