Item # 281R - Vintage C-Clasp Repousse Concho Pin
Nice vintage Navajo repousse stamped concho pin. We blew the pictures much larger than original size to show the detail using the old primitive tools Estimating this pin made between 1920 to 1940 using a personalized heavy mandrel and plate to punch out the design with the silversmith adding stampwork to the face of the pin. It measures 1 3/4" diameter across the back and is approximately 3/8" tall or deep varying on which side your looking at. Attached on the back is an old C-clasp pin. The pin weighs 10.7 grams and appears to be sterling silver. Possibly coin silver due to the time period. Very nice early Navajo craftsmanship! $79.95
