Item # 280M - Vintage 70's Turquoise Coral Chip Inlay Buckle
Nice vintage 70's Navajo turquoise and coral chip inlay belt buckle. The turquoise and coral inlay is similar to the Two Grey Hills rug design. The stone inlay is kept inside a tooled rectangle which gives the appearance of the rug in a frame. The outside of the rectangle has repeat stampwork completely around the buckle. The buckle measures 3" by 1 3/4" using inside measurements. It has been hammered in a convex or domed shape which adds an extra 1/8" if measuring across the face of the buckle. It weighs 27.5 grams and is stamped STERLING - B by the Navajo artist. The buckle will accommodate a belt up to 1 1/2" wide. $97.95
