Item # 280A - Vintage Collectors Hopi Navajo Ironwood Cuff Links & Tie Tack
Nice vintage collectors ironwood tie tack and cuff links combo. The ironwood has been cut and smoothed in a triangle shape and set in a smooth bezel with overlaid bows around the outer rim.The large cuff links measure 1 1/4" diameter and weigh 18 grams together. They are stamped HANDMADE - STERLING - and with two different artists' hallmarks. The Crowned K is that of Keith ( Kicking Turtle) Turner. The 0V underlined is that of Navajo artist Coolidge Nez. The tie tack is identically made. It measures 3/4" diameter and weighs 4.8 grams.The tie tack is stamped SEKAQUAPTEWA by Hopi silversmiths Wayne & Emory Sekaquaptewa owners of Hopi Enterprises and Hopicrafts. The set may have been designed and made by all three artists or has been matched together. $189.95
