Beautiful Navajo purple sugalite concho belt! Made with fourteen (14) individual conchos,each made with a similar design and an oval sugalite cabochon in center set in a smooth bezel. They each have a brass belt hoop attached on the back side with the buckle's hoop being off center and a brass hook soldered on the opposite end. Each concho measures 1 1/2" by 1 1/8" and they are on a 3/4" wide black leather belt. The belt measures 38 1/2" long with the first buckle hole set at 28" and six other holes set at approximately every 3/4" apart. The belt weighs 141.8 grams (5 ounces) and is stamped A. MARION - STERLING by Navajo silversmith Andy Marion. The belt is in very good shape with only a slight ripple next to the brass belt hook which is not really noticeable unless your looking for it.
