Simple bold Hopi men's blackened silver turquoise leaf watchband. Based on the artists' description (Hallmarks of the Southwest p 111) I'd place the production period in the mid 60's to early 70's. Large blackened silver watch tips with a single turquoise cab with black matrix and a leaf leaning on the stone placed in the center. Wrapped around the edge on three sides with twisted rope wire. Each watch tip measures 1 7/8" long by 1 3/8" across tapering down to 7/8". The pin holder measures 16mm across, but could be filed down shorter. We installed a new stainless steel stretchband that measures 3 1/4" long. The watch tips show no previous wear and we have straightened out the one pin holder. The watchband weighs 32.2 grams and is hallmarked GL by Hopi silversmith Glenn Lucas. Guaranteed sterling silver. $89.95
