Item # 264T - Men's Vintage Double Turquoise Watchband
Bold unique men's vintage double turquoise watchband. Each watch tip consists of two oblong polished turquoise stones set in smooth bezels. The top stone has four crescent moon's or curved wires set above it. Between the stones are four scrolls on one and three on the other with a centered silver drop. Under the lower stone is a silver drop with two scrolls. To both sides of the tips are twisted rope with a stamped design half round wire which run top to bottom. All mounted to a blackened silver base plate. Each sterling silver watch tip measures 1 3/8" across by 1 5/8" long with a 3 3/8" stainless steel adjustable stretchband between them. The pin holder is 10 mm long, but can be filed shorter with a metal file. The watchband weighs 38.3 grams and was made in the 70's, but has never been used. The stones are high quality green blue. Possibly from the Zuni mine? It appears to be from a vein and not nugget mined. The blackened silver is evenly consistent black. The flash makes it appear inconsistent. $97.95
